Manchester United, last year’s Premiership Champions, strikes the first sponsorship deal for a training-kit. For the next four years, DHL will pay £10m ($16.5m) a year for their name plastered on ManU’s training sick kit by Nike.
Tonight you will see NO NAMES on the US Soccer sick kits by Nike.
“The jersey numbers for the starters will read from No. 1 to No. 11, while the reserves will be No. 12 to No. 18. In addition to that, there will be no surnames listed on the back of the jersey, so hopefully everyone is familiar with the roster.” More on the Exclusion of Names on kits: Bleacher Report
